He has a keen interest in dairy herd health, and loves the daily challenges and physical nature of his role. His professional specialities include cattle lameness, housing and cattle management systems.

MVB MVM MRCVSAfter graduating in 1992, Michael worked in practices in East Cork, West Waterford and Australia. His clinical interests include bovine abdominal surgery, bovine fertility and infectious cow diseases, and he has extensive experience within bovine reproduction, having completed a master’s degree in viral epidemiology. He is involved with Animal Health Ireland and is a member of the BVDFree and Biosecurity Technical working groups.

B Ag Sc DVMGreg loves meeting new people and the variety of his job, where he’s challenged to solve problems with only the contents of his car boot. He has a dog called Hudson and a rabbit called Dave. He is also a big Munster rugby supporter and a keen barbecuer.

Patrick Casey

BSc BVMSPatrick worked in the UK before joining us in 2020, and after a number of years spent in mixed animal practices, he decided to focus on dairy cattle work. His main interests lie with cattle fertility, lameness and housing design, and he has a great deal of experience with large, intensive dairy herds. He is an avid surfer, and loves mountain and trail running and cycling.

MVBGrowing up on a small farm inspired Catriona’s love of animals from a young age, with many mornings and evenings spent helping out with the sheep. She loves going for walks and swims with her family and has two dogs called Lexi and Cooper, who get along very well with her three daughters.

MVBCiara has always loved helping animals, and likes working outdoors and the unpredictability of her day-to-day schedule. In her own time, she enjoys reading, hiking, knitting and taking care of her lurchers, Maisie and Ziggy, her nine pet sheep and her horses.

Emily organises all of our TB testing. She is a keen rugby player in her spare time and having played competitively for 13 years, she now coaches a youth team. She is also the proud owner of a golden retriever called Sam and a baking enthusiast – we all enjoy trying out her latest cake recipes.

When it comes to farm supplies, there’s not a lot Tim can’t help with. He believes his work is one of the linchpins to healthy animals, and enjoys working with the farmers we support. In his own time, he loves hiking with his dog, Sammy, and listening to a wide variety of music.
