Originally from Cloyne, Carl heads up our Ballincollig trauma clinic and leads our surgical referral service. He graduated from University College Dublin in 1999, and worked in referral practices for ten years before turning his attention to advanced surgery. He takes referral orthopaedic, spinal and soft tissue surgical cases from vets across Munster and beyond, as well as our own complex trauma and surgical cases.

Patrick graduated from the Veterinary College of Ireland in 1984, and worked at an Irish mixed practice and a companion practice in the UK before returning to Cork in 1989 to become a partner at Gilabbey Veterinary Hospital. He joined our team in 2023, and has acted as a consulting veterinary surgeon for the Irish Guide Dogs of Ireland and Fota Wildlife Park for over thirty years.
