Viola graduated in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Pisa (Italy) in 2016.
Before graduation she did an Internship in the Department of Clinical Pathology -Teaching Hospital of University of Pisa- supervised by Prof. George Lubas (MVB, ECVIM-CA) for one year, which was aimed to carry out a research project* that was published in April 2018 in the Comparative Clinical Pathology journal.
* "Hematological, biochemical, serological and molecular monitoring of blood donor dogs vaccinated with CaniLeish for the prevention of Leishmaniosis".
She moved to Ireland in January 2017 and worked in Paw Paws Vet Clinic in Cork until December 2017, th started working here in Riverview in January 2018.
Her interests are mainly Hematology, Clinical Pathology and Internal Medicine.
Viola grew up with animals (dogs, cats, horses, sheep, ducks..) and she has 3 Dachshunds at the moment.
